trip insurance

Recommended Posts

we are flying down saturday morning for our cruise that day. with all the talk of tropical storm emily, im starting to get worried that flying down to miami from newark might be a problem? is it too late to get trip insurance at this point?

You can get insurance but it would exclude any losses from Emily.

Yes, Emily is now a "Named" storm.

The storm is no longer considered an unforseen event. She is a known event.

Insurance companies don't stay in business by covering an event that is approaching and is going to happen. They cover unforseen emergencies.

Caveat: Sparks is correct. You can still get insurance for everything else, just can't cover any losses caused by Emily
