Umbrellas?

We are excitedly preparing for our first cruise with Oceania on the Marina. We are wondering if the cabins are equipped with umbrellas for use by the passengers? Although I'm hoping for beautiful weather, I think that the reality is that we'll see some rain along the way and I'd like to be prepared.

Yes larger umbrellas in the cabin also near the gangway on a rainy day

Please be aware that the umbrellas provided by the ship are quite large and will not fit in any pocket, backpack or purse.

I much prefer a rain jacket with a hood rather than any umbrella

i have bad luck with umbrellas & the winds;)

The umbrellas provided by the ship are HUGE. You can fit a small country under them. They are great if you are making a mad dash somewhere but very unwieldy to carry around.

I agree, the provided umbrellas are much too big to carry around all day just because it might rain. I bought 2 very small umbrellas at Target that take up practically no packing space at all and easily fit into a purse or day pack.

I don't have a picture, but they are golf umbrellas. (I simply packed a six-inch fold-up one, which was much more useful.)
