Embassy Suites Tampa where to eat?

We are staying at the Embassy Suites precruise. Is there a place close for a family to eat dinner that is moderately priced?

Depends what you consider moderately priced. There are several nice restaurants in the Westshore area that I would consider mid to high priced- Ruths Chris, PF Changs, Magiano's (Italian), The Palm, Lee Roy Selmon's (barbeque). There are 2 malls nearby with a number of restaurants as well. And then there's a Waffle House and some fast food joints. :D

 

Lots of choices around there.

Is Embassy Suites Downtown the same property or are there 2 in Tampa??

Im at Sheraton Suites in Tampa and hoping there is someplace to eat within walking distance.

THere are two in Tampa. We are staying at the one downtown precruise and the one westshore (airport) post cruise for several days. THere is another one also near Bush Gardens. I've just been down the booking path for Tampa!;)

I stayed at the Embassy Suites on Westshore. There are plenty of $ and $$ priced restauarants in the area.

when we were there last Dec we had 22 people in our party and it was 7 pm . We checked out a few places but they all had a loong wait . Some other families and ours ended up ordering pizza and eating it in the dining area near the lobby . The hotel has a cafe/ bar but they had over a hr wait too.

Which one? Downtown or Westshore?

By ES Downtown, I'm assuming you are in the one by the Convention Center?

Plenty of choices at Channelside, which is within walking distance.

and get out at Ybor City which has plenty of resturant choices as well.

 

The Columbia in Ybor City is a Tampa landmark and for lunch is not a bad price, bit more for dinner.
