cooncat_mom Posted August 15, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2011 My DD booked this cabin for a mother/daughter cruise in Nov. I found a statement that this was a bad room because of "Noise" This is pretty non-specific...I've done a GS on RCI that you could hear carts clattering the wee hours if you went into the bathroom (no biggie) and an aft PH on NCL where you could hear the engines (again, no biggie for us). Has anyone stayed in this room? Is it  NOISE  or would it be ...noise...? Since it wasn't booked through Carnival, I guess we won't be able switch our room - but it WILL be a cruise :D - so it's all good! (Putting earplugs in cruise kit!) Rare Essiesmom Posted August 15, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2011 You have the last cabin aft on the lowest deck, so I suspect the noise would involve the thrusters when coming into port and docking, and deploying the lines when docking. Think of it as your wake-up call. EM
cooncat_mom Posted August 16, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted August 16, 2011 Thanks EM - that's what I was thinking too! But for about 250/pp for an oceanview, we can live with that! :D
