Liberty Cabin 1400 or 1700?

I just saw that those two cabins are available for my sailing. They are the corner aft. Any new opinions from anyone. I have read several already, but am curious for more input before I change. I am currently in 9674.

I mostly am curious if the obstructions were a problem with the balcony or room or if it is underneath Windjammer and noise would be an issue.

Just had Freedom 1700 in June and there really isn't much obstruction. You can look over to 1702's balcony but you can not see other balconies on that deck past that. There is a support beam on the balcony but did not find that to be a problem at all. Plenty of room on the balcony, we had 2 loungers, 2 chairs and a small table.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For a few bucks more....I say go for it!!! You won't be sorry!!

We have been in 1400, no WJ noise. VERY large balcony. I would go for it as well.

Thanks for the photo! Do you have one of he room. I saw one a while ago that looked liked it had a pole in the middle.

it does. just do a google search of Liberty 1400 or 1700. you may have to search Freedom or Indy as well, but the rooms are the same.

What do you see when you look over the side of the balcony in 1700/1400. I saw some pictures that look as if you are looking at someone's balcony.

Yep. you can look down into the balconies on deck 8 and 9. But nobody looks down on you...

 

You can also see some of deck 6 balconies and maybe a little of the crew area below that on 5
