Does anyone know what is included in the deluxe gift from the casino? Called to see what we qualified for on our next cruise, and since dh and i both qualified for the premium gift, they are giving us the deluxe gift. Unfortunately, i forgot to ask what that included. lol Thanks

Could someone give me the number to check if we qualify. We recieved a promotion in the mail for $50 credit in the casino for myself and another 50 for my wife plus a discounted rate on the cruise we booked. It wasn't a sicnificant amount but better than early saver or past guest. Has anyone else recieved this?

fruit basket, cheese and crackers

2 bottles of water

bottle of wine

photo coupon

I got that package last cruise, plus another free slot tournament entry, 500 points and several free drinks in the casino. I got an e-mail a couple of days ago telling me that I would be getting the Premiun package on my upcoming Elation cruise. The e-mail did not say what that would include. I was also told to see the Casino Manager for a "special" gift. Thing is I am not a high roller or big money player. I just always spend some time and play a bit in the casinos while on board. I live in a casino town and am not going to waste all my money in an un-regulated casino.

Ok, a little off topic, how do you "qualify" for a casino gift? We've spent some big bucks in the casinos onboard and DO receive a lot of casino offers in the mail through Carnival like the one mentioned above. Does it have anything to do with your tier with Carnival or solely based on the casino? We had a BUNCH of stuff delivered to our stateroom on our last b2b on the Splendor, a fruit and cheese basket, a signed picture from John Heald, 2 bottles of champagne, 3 ship models, a few other things I can't remember off the top of my head. I thought it was all from John, such a nice man!

Supposedly, the Players Club keeps track of your points and also follows up when you are sailing. I know John sends things, but I doubt he sent all that to you. If he did you are lucky, lol.

If you have a cruise booked, you can email them at oceanplayersclub.com and include your name, date of cruise, ship and booking number and hopefully they will email you telling you what, if, anything is offered to you. Good luck!

I got the Deluxe Package from the Casino on my last cruise and it was:

A bottle of champagne

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

and on the first night at dinner someone came to our table and gave me...

A $15. off coupon for a photo and four (4) Drink Coupons...

Because we don't like strawberries I was able to "trade" it for a Bon Voyage box of cookies... which were absolutely delicious and I would get them again in a heartbeat :)

Personally, I think they make it up as they go.. My sister qualified for the Premium Package and got a bottle of wine, 2 bottles of water, chocolate covered strawberries and the $15 off coupon for a photo....

Now, does that make any sense??? Whatever... we still gambled and still had lots of fun..

I got a $25 free play coupon for my upcoming cruise--I'll take anything I can get!:)

I've spent a "boatload" on Carnival Casinos. And never got much of anything for it. I spent the same boatload on a Celebrity cruise. I got a free 7 day cruise for 2 in a Concierge Class cabin. I'm thinking maybe Carnival should rethink their paltry "gifts."

The Ocean Players Club/Casino is an independent contract. They determine what comps if any to award returning players.

I am definitely thinking it was all John then! We are members of Ocean Players Club, however we've only gotten the mail offers, no emails or any other form of contact with them. I am a blog follower as are many, and we were surprising my father that cruise for his retirement. He knew we were taking the first cruise, but he didn't know it was a b2b, I asked John if he could think of any "interesting" ways we could surprise him, he never got back to me as I had waited up until a week of the cruise and he's such a busy guy, we ended up writing it in a card and giving it to him while we were waiting to board. He was thrilled, and John's gestures were wonderful! Really made us feel special!

I think you may just be right about them making it up as they go. On Pride last May, we also qualified for the Premium package and received the chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne, 2 - $15 photo coupons and 8 drink tickets! I'm not complaining either.. we were happy with what we received :)

I get great perks from Princess and Celebrity but not a whole lot from Carnival and I gamble at the same level whenever I play. Thanks for letting me know! :D
