Ways to divide Cabin for Toddler

Looking for some smart ways to "wall off" where DS will sleep. Our cabin does not have a built in curtain. So I am thinking a sheet of some kind and somehow making it stay up. I am sure someone has tried and either knows what to do or not do. Balcony was not in the budget for this cruise so we are in an oceanview(NCL Star) and will need to put him down for naps and night while still in the room.

Would love any tips.

We have taken kids ages 2 (twice) 1, and 3 on cruises and what we have done is just lay down and pretend to go to sleep. They usually get tired of trying to talk to you when you keep your eyes closed pretty quickly. Once they are asleep, we get up but just stay quiet.

Yup, we do the same, just lay there and pretend to sleep. The cabin is so small that even if you were to block some of it off your little one would likely still hear you and see the lights on. On our Disney cruise with the curtain pulled, DS just kept reaching for it and pulling it open to see what we were doing. It was worthless, lol. There wasnt room to put the crib any farther away from it so it really served no purpose. Hopefully you can figure something out if not just lay there and pretend to sleep :) Good luck.

We did the same. Once he fall asleep, we could still talk in low voices, and even turn on one of the light by the bed he was not bothered, and continued his sleep. Our son is 15 months.
