Conquest Still in Port?

If it's still the same... We spent the night in port due to fog... and we were told we'd miss a port if we didn't get to leave by 10PM... There's about a 6 hour window for speed to stay on schedule...

Karen... I pray Mike and Sandra still love cruising... They're missing some things -- but the dining and shows and FUN still continue!!! I know it didn't bother me to stay in port... It was my third cruise, though...

I hope so too I think Mike will be OK as he has cruised before LOL(with me and Madona if I remember correctly LOL)

Sandra seems like a lady that rolls with the flow so hopefully she will just see it as a little hiccup...Shes on a boat... not at work...just got married to the man she loves and that will be a.Ok

They should be able to make all ports. Have been on the Conquest several times with fog delays & were told as long as we set sail before 10am Mon, could make all ports.

Except for the fact the Casino & shops can't open & only certain kinds of alcohol can be sold, they probably don't even know they are still tied to the dock! We sat at the dock until Tues at 10am one cruise--had a great time!

We just got off yesterday and there seemed to be some propulsion issues. We were in the starboard aft wrap and had a good bit of shuddering. Rattled all of the cabinets and the glass ware several times. When it happened, if you went outside and looked the wake was only on the starboard side. No port side wake. It looked really strange. Twice it happened at about 3 am and woke us up. We started out a little late on Sunday and were late getting into Jamaica. On time into Grand Cayman and Cozomel, then a little late getting back into Galveston.

Any word on whether or not they wiil be able to make all their ports?

I heard from Sandra she is on the ship and she is posting on carnival funville and she said they were going to be in Jamaica on Wednesday so I think it's worked out and they will

Thanks for the pictures. I quit watching about two minutes before they left. Our neighbors were on the cruise that ended 9-11-11. said they had a great time but didn't mention any problems. I'll talk to them again. I fell in love with Galveston the first time I was there and we're on the Magic in January - CAN'T WAIT!!! 115 days.
