JS on the Bump on Voyager??

Should we worry about elevator noise on the 9th deck bump cabins on VOS???? We appreciate any info!!! Also, what about the fan cabins on the back of Deck 7??? Trying to make a decision on which would be better for the Adriatic cruise!

We were in 9318 (center hump) on Voyager in February. It was a great JS with a slightly larger (deeper) balcony, and we loved it! We never heard elevator noise during the cruise - just a few noisy people in the hall a time or two. The room faces the hallway and a hall wall separates it from the elevator lobby, so noise was never a problem for us. Enjoy!

I concur. We had 9318 on Explorer in May and no elevator noise. It is a GREAT cabin.

I just came back last week from the VY Adriatic in 9318. Great cabin and great cabin attendant. Florina. Noise no problem.

If you mean the aft cabins on deck 7 you will have some of the ships superstructure in front of you. The hump deck 9 is much better. Great cruise by the way.

Took everyone's advice and booked the bump!!! Thanks for the great info, not worried a bit about the elevator now!!! Are there any perks that come with a JS? We assume it's just like the balcony rooms, just larger???

You also have a large walk in closet, and a kettle and coffee maker. :)

And you get a bathtub/shower combo instead of the 'beam-me-up-Scotty' tube shower. You also get robes for use on the ship, some nicer bathroom amenities (this may differ according to the cabin attendant - we got shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion in little bottles, but they are not the same brand that are supplied in the big suites.)

You also get priority boarding - even though a JS is not one of the big suites, your set sail document will have "suite" on it so you'll be directed to the suite line.

And the walk-in closet is wonderful! As is the much more spacious seating area in the JS.

Enjoy!
