Does anyone know if the cover charge covers milkshakes. I know it covers any food you want, but what about extras..

Nope, milkshakes are extra. Well worth the few dollars though...I'm still drooling at the memory of the cookies & cream shake hubby and I shared on the Oasis last week!

If I remember correctly, the cover charge only covered the food. Had to pay extra per milk shake. They were not included in the cover. Just like buying a soda with your meal, just cost more.

As others have noted, milkshakes are an extra cost item at JR's. However, every C&A coupon book includes a coupon for 2 for 1 milkshakes at JR's.

If you have the C&A BOGO for milkshakes you can just walk in and get them to go...DH has done this before..

You mean you were not charged the cover charge. Milkshakes, regardless if food is bought or not, always cost extra. Any beverage costs money at JR.

we got off the adventure on sat and went to there twice in the week and it cost us $21 that was the cover charge and 2 milkshakes well worth it

All the food, including dessert, you want is included in the cover charge.

Also remember if you are too full for dessert..you can get the applepie to go and have it later..our favorite dessert..and soooo much better than the applepie served elsewhere on the ship ..;)

Why did I never think about getting it to go? Next month I'll get a milkshake and a piece of apple pie to go and enjoy them when I'm ready instead of waiting in line to get in.

Why would you want to go to johnny rockets while you are sailing the Oasis or Allure with so many fabulous dining options and go eat GREASY and i mean greasy hamburgers and stale fries and onion rings. The burgers in the windjammer are better and they are free.

silentbob, I thought the same thing... but then I over-thought it and told myself this is a veteran member here, probably with many cruises under his/her belt. They would know that any food will cost them the cover charge. Hmm. Guess you read it the same way I did. :o :)

Suggestion: Get the milk shake a different time than when you eat there. There is so much food including the great desserts that I was too full to really enjoy my extra-cost milk shake.
