Airport Bus to Barcelona - Las Ramblas - Rialto Hotel

We are planning on taking the aerobus from the airport into Barcelona. Does anyone know what stop we should get off at. We are staying at The Rialto hotel near the Las Ramblas district.

Then the next moring we may walk to the port. Is this feasible?

Would appreciate any help.

You should get off at the Placa de Catalunya, you will have a little bit of a walk as your hotel is located on the other side of the Barri Gothic district.

 

As to getting to the port, you can walk but I would only go to the Columbus Statue and than take the port bus. The pier is quite long (about 2 miles all told).

Thanks for the info. Some more questions. When we get off the bus at Placa de Catalunya, are there taxis that will take us to our hotel? Is the port bus free?

Taxis are everywhere, we used them for Port to Las Ramblas and Las Ramblas/Hotel to airport. It ran ~ 30 euros for 4 people plus luggage.

I would think you should be able to find a taxi at Placa de Catalunya, it is very large and busy there. I was not looking for taxis so can't say 100%.

 

If I remember right the port bus is 1 euro / pp.

Taxis are everywhere at Catalunya.

 

The AeroBus is ~ 5 euros pp, each way (I took it last week). You can buy tickets at the stand where the bus picks up at the airport.
