Lounge Chairs on Nieuw Amsterdam???

I realize that this may seem silly, but I have to ask. After looking at some pictures of Nieuw Amsterdam, it looks like the only place that there are lounge chairs are right around the pool. I've only been on Princess in the past, and they have chairs on multiple decks in a variety of places. On the Nieuw Amsterdam, are there only lounge chairs surrounding the pools, or are there some in other places? My husband and I like to sit in the sun during the day - will it be a constant battle to find chairs?

The best place to find lots of empty loungers in the sun is up on top of the Silk Den/Tamarind because not many people want to climb two flights of stairs from the Panorama deck. The next best place, requiring just one flight of stairs and closer to facilities, is up on top of the Crow's Nest.

For the Crow's Nest roof, go out the door toward the Cabana Club but go up the stairs instead. For the Silk Den/Tamarind roof, go up either of these sets of stairs:

There are loungers above the Crows Nest and a big area with loungers above the Silk Den/Tamarind.

These pictures are from the Eurodam:

There is also an outdoor shower above the Crows Nest, nice to cool off under. :)

KL630...looking at the Cruise Atlas for Princess it appears that there is no area aft on their ships for lounge chairs around a pool, is that correct?

I see pools amidship or the sanctuary forward but nothing aft...

For those who do not want to be sun baked, there are also plenty on the promenade deck.

i've only on one princess ship - the grand princess. it did have a very nice aft area with chairs/tables/loungers all around an aft pool. that was a couple years ago, however.
