Blind Squirrel Posted October 2, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2011 I am looking on LMT and it appears that the IC is $149/ night for Dec 10th and Dec 18th. What are the chances of it going down? I see alot of people getting it for $111.

Anything can happen but I have noticed that prices in Florida in general are a little higher over the winter December, January, etc. The snow birds tend to head south. Good luck! Rare Keith1010 Posted October 2, 2011 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2011 Prices tend to be higher during this month through the winter season. Keith

Blind Squirrel Posted October 2, 2011 Author #5 Share Posted October 2, 2011 Thanks everyone, I just realized the reason I am seeing $149/night is that I am searching with 3 adults. I guess that's probably as low as it gets. Thanks again.

sydney dog Posted October 10, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 10, 2011 I booked it about 2 months ago for $111. I have been noticing it has been going up since i booked. I'm also staying 12/10 and on the same cruise as you!!!
eandj Posted October 10, 2011 #8 Share Posted October 10, 2011 Saturday nights are usually a bit more. However, I think that may be a BIT high for what is usually a "slower" winter time. ( Many people don't travel and cruise right before Christmas. ) What I would do is book something that can be cancelled and then start hitting Priceline, Hotwire and LMT. BUT...If you really want the IC and nothing else, then stick with LMT because you know the hotel you are getting. I wouldn't look at what others get unless it's for the exact dates you need and they have JUST booked like you are doing. Rates jump all over the place. WestCoastCruiser123 Posted October 11, 2011 #9 Share Posted October 11, 2011 I kept checking LMT for IC when it was $111/nt. I thought it would go down. And then it went UP. I booked it at the slightly higher price since that was the hotel I wanted and I haven't checked the rates since. Don't try to wait it out like I did.
