Just how bad is red roof miami?

Sailing during t-giving week on the Liberty---yay carnival 2.0,,,I haven't found anything recent on this hotel. I can get it for $67 on LMT...We are driving in Fri around 8pm, and just sleeping for the night. My main concern is parking the car there for the week(is is safe/secure), as oppossed to spending $140 at the port. That coupled with the free breakfast and shuttle makes it seem worthwhile.

I'd love to get the IC or something downtown, but then adding on parking my car for $3o or so, plus pier parking makes it not cost effective.

 

 

Sooooooooo...whos recently been at the red roof inn?

Never been to the Red Roof Miami.

 

You might check out other park & cruise hotels mear MIA - Embassy Suites MIA and both the Homewood Suites and Hampton Inn in the Blue Lagoon neighborhood are three of the favorites on these boards for cruise parking deals. A popular budget option to consider is the La Quinta East, which includes free breakfasr and free shuttle to POM.

driving to some of the hotels in miami is very frightening (especially for a small town county girl) so pick one easy to find off the hwy. we rode around lost about 1/2 hr in a bad neighborhood. the hotel was ok, but didn't like getting there. don't remember name of hotel.

we try to stick to something like a hampton now.

remember you can't take it with you and you are going. ad
