crew mom Posted October 16, 2011 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2011 No major changes according to DS. Just the TV's being replaced, carpet etc. and a good cleaning and fresh paint. New props were installed on the ship. New stage floor but that's pretty standard dry dock stuff also. They brought on a new cast during dry dock also so they are getting their feet wet, so to speak. Hi Crew Mom..... We are sailing on the Spirit on 10/30/11. Can I ask what your son does on the Spirit? We are looking forward to our cruise and can't wait to get to New Orleans. This will be our first Suite Experience and first time on NCL.....

You'll find him in the theatre. Go say hi! Still no refrigerators ? Good question. I'll ask. Not sure if there would be a space for them in the rooms. CruisinMaterial Posted October 17, 2011 #7 Share Posted October 17, 2011 Refrigerators in the staterooms was NOT an upgrade. However, an upgrade which did occur was the addition of action stations to the ship's buffet area. The whole buffet underwent a renovation so they could add a small kitchen area up there (as opposed to bringing the food up from Deck 6 galley). :)
