Tampa question re: porters & luggage

Do the porters bring your luggage all the way to the garage?

We used the porters after our Legend cruise in 2010 and they were happy to take our bags over to the garage shuttle pick-up area. This is directly below the parking garage so I would imagine that they would do the same for parked cars as well. :) We did give him a nice tip for taking our bags this far as it is across the street.

I'm now actually considering valet parking, and then just managing our own luggage. I'm thinking that the difference in parking would cover what we'd give the porter for the tip.

 

Except now I recall that in Miami, at least, the porter gets you cutting privileges in the customs line... Hmm, decisions...decisions...

Either way is fine. It's easy with the porters.
