Some ships have a special departure lounge with a continental breakfast. Balcony discount. Slightly better coupons. A repeaters event for platinum, diamond, etc.

My favorite was gaining the priority embarkation, I don't like standing in lines. The top tier event is nice as well, but those aren't on every sailing.

The balcony discount counted the most for us...we just turned P, and I was not even aware of the discount until we booked. Sweet!!

We'll turn Platinum during next cruise. Only thing we are looking forward to is the balcony discount and we understand that can be applied retroactively (once status is updated) if we book something onboard. Priority boarding does not help us much because due to wheelchair they do that anyway. Robes might be nice. SeaPass marked Platinum though would be better than Gold but then there are all those Emerald and Diamond people so still pretty low on the ladder.

 

Adding: refreshed my memory from Cigar King's link. Forgot about the corresponding level thing with Celebrity's Captains Club. If we try Celeb sometime that would be nice to carry over some benefits. Downside is not earning points for the cruise.
