A photo journal from our recent Liberty Of The Seas westbound transatlantic crossing from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale (Oct 29th - Nov 12th 2011).

This certificate details our ports of call en-route.

The journal starts on Oct 28th in Barcelona when we arrived 1 day pre cruise.

I've managed to get the photos down from around 600+ to 400. Enjoy, and click the 'slideshow' link for the best view.

Great job Pete..wasn't that morning in Tenerife with the rainbow and the QM2 just spectacular. That rainbow remained in the sky for over an hour.

QM2 is in the New York harbor this morning..she followed us home lol

Emmy, so true, couldn't believe the luck of seeing the rainbow and QM2 as we approached Santa Cruz in Tenerife.

Nice job Pete!!! You have some nice pictures of Voyager and QM2 :).

Greets

Many thanks, apparently Voyager wasn't supposed to be with us in Tenerife, but had been diverted due to the weather on her transatlantic crossing.

We are cruising on the Liberty in March and I can't wait.

Donna

PS: You look dashing in a tux!;)

Thank you, as we say in the UK "we scrub up well"!

Awesome pictures!! You have so many great shots, it makes me want to book this for next year. ;) Thanks!
IMHO she is a beautiful ship and we will be back on board in only 177 days for a short trip around the Med.

Mmm, what can I say, not too impressed to be honest!

That’s not good, sounds like RCI might have a problem with its CD’s...May I ask what your issues where (and who the CD was)?

For me, as only had Leo till now, I expected so much from what I have read on these boards...But not even seeing the guy except for when he is performing in 14days is just not right imo!?

I presumed to CD is supposed to show his face amongst the passengers as long as possible and mingle, make jokes, join activity’s, etc...Just be a representative of the ship and RCI, or am I wrong???

Fabulous pictures Pete. John and I enjoyed meeting you and Patrick.

The certificate was a nice touch, we also saw someone from the crew giving out the "glass blocks" when I asked her about them she said they were for the Atlantic crossing. Not sure what that meant.

Loved the TA certainly was a great value.
