Rare Keith1010 Posted November 20, 2011 #2 Share Posted November 20, 2011 One good thing to do is to start making a list of items that you use each and every day while at home. This will really serve as a basis for your list. Think through items such as how many diapers you use and the like. Then add to this those items that you don't use often but you would need if the child becomes sick/ill. This really should serve as a good starting point and help you to avoid overlooking something when you pack. Keith
cb at sea Posted November 20, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2011 Any and all medications that you use or MIGHT use.....baby tylenol, benadryl, stuffy nose stuff, pedialyte....bandaids...stuff like that. And, a thermometer. None of this takes up much space, but IF you need it, you'll be glad you have it. Any "comfort" item or toy. Yes...start putting one of everything you use during the day into a basket or bag...that way, you'll SEE what you need to take!!!

squidward Posted November 21, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2011 We found that the best thing we brought was one of our son's favorite Baby Genius or Baby Einstein videos. You can hook it up to the TV in the stateroom or on your iPad or other device. Anything that can keep a baby mesmerized for 30 minutes while you get dressed for the evening is priceless in my book. :)
traceyg Posted November 28, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 28, 2011 My top list: toys to put in the crib to keep him occupied. duck bath (walmart) for giving him a bath in the shower meds in case you need them extra clothes stroller crib sheet/blankets- it was a small crib with a blanket folded over linens. I put the sheet over it and wrapped it tightly. Then I had different blankets of thickness depending on the cabin temp.
