shofer Posted November 28, 2011 #1 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I was going to book one of these for our day at Princess Cays but when I looked at the cost it was 2 x $199. Is this correct that it is $199 pp? Or is it just $199 total? Thanks for all your answers. Sue

Well worth it I might add.:)
cantwaitfornextcruise Posted November 28, 2011 #3 Share Posted November 28, 2011 $199 for the bungalow max 6 guests, we have had one and IMHO worth every $ we had a great time it was the perfect end to a pefect cruise - go fo it :D
stoneharborlady Posted November 28, 2011 #4 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I was going to do it on our trip next November, but they seem to have cut the maximum number of guests from 6 to four. We have four adults and two children in our family, so it will not work for us now. :(
sportsmum Posted November 28, 2011 #5 Share Posted November 28, 2011 Can you pay for the 2 extra? The bungalow made it the best stop on that whole trip.

Its pricey as it is, and the two kids will never be in it anyway. Like me, they would never be out of the water.

We had 2 bungalows with 17 people on our last group cruise. No worries.

The kids were never inside; it's very small. There were chairs and loungers outside. The best part for us was that it came with a "guy" that served our drinks, then lunch, then later dessert. He cleaned up everything. It was great.
Rare Shelly97060 Posted November 29, 2011 #9 Share Posted November 29, 2011 We thought it was worth the money. It was nice to have a place to change, a place to get inside and eat our lunch in the air conditioning when hot and best of all the reserved lounge chairs for our little bungalow. We would rent one again. :)

notentirelynormal Posted November 29, 2011 #11 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Yup, we had someone offer to get our drinks but we had to get our food on our own.

shofer Posted November 30, 2011 Author #13 Share Posted November 30, 2011 Thanks for all the answers. To think I did not book one for our 2008 cruise when we took our children and their spouses because I thought it was $199/pp. We booked one for our upcoming 1/28/12 cruise on the Grand. Looks like a terrific idea and we can't wait to try it. Sue
Bustersmom Posted November 30, 2011 #14 Share Posted November 30, 2011 We have reserved this on the Grand 12/10 so I will try to report back as soon as we get back and let you know how it was, seemed like such a lovely idea!
jdvmd Posted November 30, 2011 #15 Share Posted November 30, 2011 We had No. 2 last December and it was wonderful! Celebrated my husband's 50th and my son's 13th birthdays. Decorated the cabana with "Happy Birthday" and all that good stuff from the Dollar Tree. We had six people but during the course of the day had five more people who joined us. Karen We did receive six tender tickets but this was last December when they allowed six people. It is now four people maximum.
camofwilliamsburg Posted November 30, 2011 #18 Share Posted November 30, 2011 Free beach stop.... how is that a rip off? If you are talking about the bungalows I do not understand the appeal at all. The ship is there for such a short time, and most people hang out in the water. Also, there are many shaded areas if you need that for free.
