Babysitting for 15 month old on Holland America?

Hello

We are planning a cruise to Alaska and our daughter will be 15 months old at the time. We know that Disney and RCI do have dedicated babysitting areas (Rhapsody is getting Royal Babies next year), but the itineraries on HAL are more to our liking.

Has anybody used HAL's in cabin babysitting services? I've been getting conflicting information about it's availability.

Any other cruise line that may be a good option in Alaska for those under 2?

Thanks!

Thanks for the link :). When I called HAL, the agent I spoke to said that our daughter wouldn't be able to go to babysitting at the kids facilities, BUT that she would be able to use in cabin babysitting. I see that the information provided wasn't accurate. Oh well...

I just got off a HAL cruise with a one year old and my understanding was that any children services on HAL the child has to be atleast 3 years old and potty trained. I didn't actually confirm that with them on the ship - but that is what I had heard.
