Havinsnest Posted January 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2012 My husband's favorite lunch when we are on Conquest is Sur Mer. He wasn't a happy man when I explained that Victory wouldn't have fish and chips before we took that cruise in May 2010. Looking at Magic's deck plans I don't see such a place but I want confirmation on that before I break the news to him. No fish and chips on Magic, right? They put a pasta bar/restaurant in the fish and chips place. Be gentle with him! Happy New Year!

I think the Fish-n-Chips is the best food on the ship! I will miss it on the Dream in 76 days! Its not really the fish I adore. I love the fried oysters and that seafood soup with that crispy piece of bread. Yum!
vivavegas Posted January 1, 2012 #8 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Nope sorry ~ only on these ships~ Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty and Freedom~ Think I'll switch to one of these ships, since I luv Fish-n-Chips! Do you know by chance if plans are to add to other ships?

EMc&DrS Posted January 1, 2012 #14 Share Posted January 1, 2012 If some of the ships have the Fish & Chips restaurant, and the Dream/Magic have the Italian lunch area (which IS good!), does the Legend and the others in its class have any free specialty food area? jobell Posted January 1, 2012 #15 Share Posted January 1, 2012 Love the pasta bar on the Dream. It tends to be just like what I hear about Fish n Chips in that majority of the cruisers are not aware of it. We didn't find it until midway through the cruise. I am very excited about trying Fish n Chips in 2 weeks. :)
CharmedMom Posted January 1, 2012 #16 Share Posted January 1, 2012 The fish and chips is good, but, you're gonna love the pasta bar on the Dream. We have sailed on the Dream twice (so I know about the pasta bar) - we will be sailing on the Freedom in June. I'm glad to have found this thread as I was wondering what was in the upstairs (where the pasta bar is on the Dream). I'm not a fan of fish (and actually only two from our party of five are fish eaters) - is there more than fish to choose from there ... like some chicken maybe? We really loved eating upstairs on Embarkation day as it wasn't crowded (heck, it wasn't even half full), and would love to be out of the crowd again on embarkation day.
