Celebrity Solstice Football Playoffs

We are boarding Celebrity Solstice on January 22, 2012.

We are big football fans and would like to watch the playoffs on the 22nd.

 

Where is the best place to watch a game on the Solstice.

 

From what I've gathered on the blogs it looks like the only

public place is in the casino.

They will undoubtedly show the playoffs in "Celebrity Central" a large theatre area, seats a couple hundred people. We watched playoffs there 2 years ago, great fun. Several large screens, bar service lots of munchies...at any rate REST ASSURED the games will be on in many locations.

Oh and I see you are from Colorado...go BRONCOS!!

Hi:) Gracie is right, they will probably show the game in Celebrity

Central.....they will also have it on in the casino and your cabin will

have it on too.

Check your Celebrity Today when you get to your cabin and they will

probably have information printed on there about it as well.

I have sailed during the playoffs/Superbowl for the last few years

and they always show the games:)

 

My best suggestion? Get throught Saturday night's game with the

Patriots first;)

The Broncos are out but we still will watch the playoff.

We just returned yesterday from the Solstice, and this weekend's games were shown in one of the theatres, and were also on big screen TV's in the casino. Go Patriots!

The early game (Ravens v Patriots) might be a problem due to its time. Usually the ships TVs only broadcast a safety video before the muster drill. You definitely will not be able to watch it during the drill, everything stops on the ship. Afterwards, probably not a problem as well as the night game..

On Solstice, I watched the 49ers and Saints in Celebrity Central. Later, strolling through the channels in my cabin, on the Cartoon Network they had the Broncos and Patriots game on. That was weird!

I see no mention that Michael's Club has been converted to a sports' bar during Dry Dock as was previously supposed by a CC member. Does anyone know the current situation and the future plan if any?
