First time cruiser

Am cruising for the first time with Royal Carribean. I know you are not allowed irons, can I take a clothes steamer on board?

NO - they are just as dangerous and can cause a fire.

Many cruise ships have self service laundries with irons in them. Not sure about RCI. Check their website or ask on the RCI section.

No self-service laundries on RCI ships.

Steamers are allowed, unless they appear to have frayed cords. Electric hair appliances are also allowed.

Steamers are ok, but if it looks like an Iron you may have to go to the naughty room to get it, but when you show them it is not an iron you will be good to go.

Downy has wrinkle release which works well for us. You spray it on, stretch the fabric and wrinlkles disappear. But, do this in the morning for night time wear, giving it time to work. You can get it in most grocery stores in the laundry soap isle. Try it at home first.
