Cash from casino

Yes, you can get cash in the casino for a 3% fee.

You can also get it from the ATM near the customer service desk. We opened a Schwab Bank savings account for just this very reason. We can use any ATM anywhere in the world and get reimbursed for the fees. We've used it repeatedly on board our cruises. There are other banks that do this now, too.

You can also cash a one time personal check for a maximum of $200 ($250???) at the service desk.

The best and cheapest way to get cash is to bring it with you! No sense in paying a percentage to access your own money. There will be a safe in your cabin (on most ships) where you can store it until needed, so you don't have to carry it around with you. If you don't have a safe (older ships), then lock it in a suitcase....it'll be fine.

If you don't spend it all, take it home, and redeposit it into your account.
