Breezie68 Posted January 26, 2012 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2012 Hi there :) This morning I did my daily ritual- check prices for my cruise! I booked at the past guest rate on the Carnival Destiny on March 1st for $269 per person. I'm on the main deck in an interior cabin. I looked this morning, saw they were at $259 a person when doing a mock booking. I took a screen shot, and sent it to my PVP. Right after I sent it to my PVP, the prices jumped to $279 per person. Do you think he will still be able to help me, even though the prices went back up? My goal is to get on the Lido, but when I talked to my PVP yesterday, it was $80 bucks to get up there. I'd be more willing to do it if it were $50 or so bucks :) I'd rather spend my money on drink of the days :D:p I'm hoping the screen shot helps my case! kicia Posted January 26, 2012 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2012 As long as you have the screen shot you should be OK.
okgirl Posted January 26, 2012 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2012 If the price of an inside cabin on a higher deck is less than what you paid you might get to move, but there are no OBC's for anyone after final payment and under 60 days except for ES. firefly333 Posted January 26, 2012 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2012 I dont think your PVP can help you get OBC as you seem to be past final payment. You might start looking to see if there is a higher category that is the same price as what you paid you can upgrade to. Thats how I once moved from a Inside to a OV for $10, rather than swallow the price drop I couldnt cash in on. Start looking at possible upgrades? You say what are your chances for a upgrade.. but Im not clear if there is another category the same price as what you paid above yours. If you do want to upgrade and there is a price difference, you would have to pay that.
