Miami to Ft. Lauderdale transfer

There are 8 of us booked on the Freedom next year. I would prefer to fly into MIA because it would be a direct flight. How hard would it be to get transportation to the Port? We always fly in the day before so any hotel recommendations?

Thank you so much!

From MIA to the FLL area you could do a couple of one-way car rentals - probably your cheapest and easiest option. Most of the car rental agencies will shuttle you to Port Everglades.

Shuttle service from Supershuttle, QLS or Go Airport Shuttle will cost $30-40 per person. Then cab to the port from your hotel.

A taxi (you'd need two) will cost $85+ depending upon which hotel you choose for the 40+ minute ride.

Larry's Limos has been suggested for Miami service.

Near the port we like the Embassy Suite in the 17th street area - big rooms, great breakfast, and free happy hour. Good luck! :)
