Celebrity/RCI Crown & Anchor

I am going on a Celebrity cruise next month. Does anybody know if the points earned will go toward my RCI Crown & Anchor status?

 

Also, will my Emerald status with RCI be recognized on Celebrity?

You will earn points on Celebrity, not RCCL.

 

Celebrity does grant Elite status to RCCL Diamond and above. I have no idea of what sort of status Emerald would receive.

You need to contact Celebrity Captains Club to enroll there and have your C&A status known. On the Celebrity website there is an FAQ that tells all about what the different levels translate to. Your Celebrity cruise will not be adding to your C&A status.

Your Emerald status will get you Select status on Celebrity. Alas, Captain's Club cruise credits and C&A cruise points do not combine. The only way to improve your status on RCI would be to earn a total of ten cruise credits on X, which would make you Elite, which would in turn make you Diamond on RCI. Easier to get to Diamond by earning whatever cruise points you need to get to 80 cruise points with additional RCI sailings.

Just to confirm it as cruisestich said you must call Celebritys Captains Club and get a Captains Club number which must then be associated with your reservation....

Thanks for the help. I need to see if I might already be registered, as I was on a Celebrity cruise a few years ago. I'll call Captain's Club and get that straight.
