No More Dubai?

Recommended Posts

It is just a shame it doesn't stay there longer four months is not long. I wonder why they are not doing India?

Dubai and the surrounding region gets extremely hot once you get into late spring. Don't think you'd really want to be there past mid-April, unless you like baking in 120(F) heat!!

The ship will be in Dubai only 2.5 months in early 2013 - from the end of January until mid-April.

You are right, it must be worth it for Rccl but looking at some of prices they were charging in Jan makes you wonder whether it is.

Most probably they spend big money on the ships. UAE is Full of (european) expats that earns big money.

The UAE does have a lot of western expats (we all don't earn big money!!) but they would not normally take this cruise as the ports of call are near enough to drive to (there are a few exceptions - we are on this cruise next week). The majority of the passengers come from UK and Europe as you can now fly direct to Dubai from most major european cities.

P.S The only country in the region where women are prohibited from driving is Saudi Arabia.
