lanie89052 Posted February 12, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2012 Does anybody have a review on Cabin 953 on the Navigator?
Wendy The Wanderer Posted February 12, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2012 I have no personal knowledge of this cabin, but it's aft, so *I* would stay away from it. Perhaps the higher decks are all right, I don't know.
NCCruzQueen Posted February 12, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2012 The Navigator is known for its vibration issues, most noticeable in the aft region of the ship. If at all possible, move forward of the elevators.
Travelcat2 Posted February 13, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 13, 2012 IMO, upper decks are worse. You feel the "motion of the ocean" much more up there. The only place to be on the Navigator is low and mid-ship!
ChatKat in Ca. Posted February 13, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Depends on the itinerary as well if low is really necessary. But on Navigator, you want to be forward of the elevators.

Well we had cabin 718 last year, which is not forward of the elevators, and it was fine. In fact it was so good, we have booked the same cabin again. rcandkc Posted February 13, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Last summer we were in 1019 which is forward of the elevators and had no trouble. We have booked it again for the fall. I would not want to be in an aft cabin due to vibrations or the first one at the bow due to sea movement and waves hitting the bow.

Did you mean to type 838 or 938 which are between the two banks of elevators? :)
philham Posted February 13, 2012 #9 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Thanks for your 1019 cabin comment. I will be in 1018 in a few weeks and had no idea what to expect.
rcandkc Posted February 13, 2012 #10 Share Posted February 13, 2012 We really liked being on the pool deck. This even though we had very rainy weather. We tended to hang out on 10 and 11 most of the time....the covered pool area, La Veranda, and the observation lounge.

Not to confuse anyone, the Navigator doesn't have an observation lounge. Where most O Lounges are is the gym. Galileo's is the panorama lounge aft on deck 11. It is just at the aft instead of the bow:-)
