Novice Snorkel

Which location in Cozumel would you recommend for first-time snorklers (who are non-swimmers)? (something to try out in no more than 7 ft of water for 30-45 min)

 

is it even possible to find something that shallow?

Most of the snorkel operators are used to dealing with first time snorkelers - Eagle Ray has a great reputation. You'll be wearing an inflatable safety vest that will help you to float on the surface, so depths of 7 ft. or 17 or 70 will only affect what you can see.

 

You could do a snorkel tour from the shore at the Money Bar and avoid the boat ride - it's a short cab ride from the pier and they can also rent you the required gear. Good luck! :)
