We are booked on an April 26 Princess transatlantic cruise and would like to organize a "Conversation Cafe" discussion group on board. Princess has indicated that passengers do not have access to the daily bulletin, so we are wondering, is it possible for passengers to find a way to reach other like-minded passengers for common interests?

Go to the roll call for your sailing -- it should be easy to get the ball moving with like-minded passengers - setting an initial meeting time/place for soon after boarding.

I saw ads in the library on the ship about private groups like the one you are trying to organize. They have location and time and room for names to sign up - and for security they ask not to add your cabin number.

Also you can check out the Facebook roll call for your cruise. The disadvantage is less security there.

I second trying your roll call board here. On one of our TA's, we had a very active roll call and there was a large bulletin board set up in a specific area for members on the roll call to check for the various activities; cabin crawl, bridge tour, meet and greet, etc., that had been set up.

 

It was a dry erase type board and people could leave messages there as needed. It was there all during the cruise and at times people were sitting at the desk beside it (other passengers) to help out.
