TwoSue Posted March 10, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 10, 2012 We're taking a 7-day Southbound Alaska cruise from Seward this summer. The ship doesn't sail until 8:00 p.m. How early will we be able to board?
CruiserBruce Posted March 10, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 10, 2012 About 11:30.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 10, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 10, 2012 We have done your cruise. The majority of the passengers get off the ship very early because they are catching trains and buses to go to Anchorage. There isn't any immigration for people to go through since it is an American port. You can get on by 11 AM.
TwoSue Posted March 11, 2012 Author #4 Share Posted March 11, 2012 Thanks! We'll be taking a shuttle or train in from Anchorage that morning, and I'll be anxious to board after a week in an RV.
Typhoon1 Posted March 11, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 11, 2012 The earlier the better.
PathfinderEss Posted March 12, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2012 Yes early works for me too, around 11 to noon you should be able to board. Have a great cruise.:)
Himself Posted March 12, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 12, 2012 What time does your train get in. I have done the round trip up there and I usually go into Seward around ten and get back for lunch. Ship does not leave until 8 at night. I really never noticed when PAX first get on.
