Hello everyone! I am hoping to get lots of responses in order to have somewhere that everyone can go to find out all kinds of helpful information about the Valor!

So post any helpful tips about cruising on the Valor here! Any secret decks, great spots to hang out, things you wished you had known about sooner on your cruise on the valor, or even photos.

Thanks in advance everyone!

I was on the Valor in 2010 and will be on the Valor again this year.

We liked the ship and it's theme... Eagles everywhere!

Our favorite place to hang out was the Atrium Bar... Nice waiter who showed us lots of tricks and he was always up for a chat.

If you have any specific questions, I'll be happy to try to answer these...

Here are some pics:

Secret decks- 6, 7, and 10. Go allllllllllllll the way forward through the passenger cabins until you dead end. Go through the 2 doors either to your left or right (depending on which hallway you walk down) and there you are. I have a review in my signature with plenty of pictures. Have fun!

If your a smoker the winston lounge is a nice place to hang out. No crowd and the bar is easy to walk right up and get a drink. And they have some pretty good entertainment.

You can not smoke at all in Winstons any more. New smoking rules changes.

We seemed to enjoy the casino bar the most. Not sure why,but that is where we seemed to end up.

Hi! **Question!**I love dessert and am hoping that our 6 day Valor cruise (On March 25th!) will have the chocolate buffet/extravaganza. Usually it is on the last day at sea for the 7 day we did on Liberty in Dec 2009, so was wondering if anyone knows if we'll have it on our 6 day cruise. Thanks all!:D

We were scheduled for the Victory for out 3/10/13 cruise and it was switched out for the Valor. So now I am reading Victory reviews for the ports and Valor reviews for the ship.

Just 2 days less than one year away!!!

My bf & I LOVE the Valor!! It holds a special place in our hearts because it was our very first cruise. We loved ROSIE'S! It is such a bright, comforting place to just sit and have a drink while watching the ocean, out the big windows. The decor of the whole ship is awesome. We loved all the colours. Although this isn't ship specific, but we love to sit at the back of the ship and watch the wake. I envy anyone who is going on the VALOR!:)

The Serenity area is on deck 11 forward. Can't miss it. Popular spot though, but looked very comfy.

We just finished a great cruise on Sunday. Review to follow.

Here's the Valor in Curacao.

We were on the Valor in February. Paris Hot is the new smoking lounge. Lido on the Starboard side is also smoking as well as your balcony (if you booked a balcony room). Deck 5 will be the deck to get you all the way from aft to stern. The chocolate chip cookies on the Lido buffet are yummy and the Chateaubriand served in the MDR was to die for!

Have a great cruise!

Recently got off the Valor... tear. It was my first cruise and it was awesome! I have nothing bad to say about the Valor. Beautifully decorated and very friendly staff.

Our favorite bar area was Jeanne's Wine Bar and the Casino bar! Our regular bartenders were Valeriya and Vasilena, they were our favorites and made us look forward to seeing them every night!

Serenity deck area was wonderful, however, we only ended up there after the crowds had left in early evening. But check it out!

We also had a great time with Brad at the Piano Bar! If you are a sushi fan, the Togo Sushi bar was pretty good (a great snack before late seating dinner)!

Enjoy your time on the Valor!

We will be onboard in April for our 3rd cruise on Valor - can't wait!! She's a great ship!

If you enjoy stir-fry, check out the Mongolian Wok - our favorite for lunch!! It's near the buffet area. You may have to wait in line a few minutes, but it's worth the wait!

Sounds like I'm a big eater, but not!! Oh, and I love that Carnival has a deli - the reubens and tuna wrap are excellent.....

You can get a free lanyard in the casino to hold your cruise card.
