Redbarnphotog Posted March 23, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Sorry if this has been asked often, I just had no idea how to search for it. I am boarding the Jade from Venice and was wondering if I will be charge the corkage fee if I don't want to drink the wine on the ship? I have no problem with NCL holding the wine for me, I just think I might want to take some home as gifts after my cruise. I don't really want to take the time to stand in line at the naughty room, or I'd just pack it in my suitcase. But if that's the only option it might be the way I go. CruiserBruce Posted March 23, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Best to research this on the NCL board.
paul929207 Posted March 23, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2012 I thought I read that NCL will charge the corkage fee for any bottle you bring on board and refund it for any you carry off at the end.
Krazy Kruizers Posted March 23, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 23, 2012 Yes -- NCL will charge the corkage when you bring the wine on the ship -- and they will refund the money when they see you take the wine back off the ship. Remember that if you are flying home -- the wine will have to be packed in your checked luggage.
