What is the cheapest way for one person to travel from the Miami airport to the Ft. Lauderdale cruise port?

SAS does not pickup at Miami airport

We are doing this next week as a matter of fact. We decided to rent a car and got an awesome deal through $ rent a car...it was $38 for the day and that included taxes. I thought it might be nice to have car since we arrive the night before...this way we can go enjoy a nice breakfast and stop over at the wine store on our way to the port. Apparently there is a drop site at the Port and then they shuttle you over to the ship.
