Strikes at Frankfurt Airport

There was an article in the Wall Street Journal a few days ago about strikes at Frankfurt Airport. It mentioned many cancellations and possibility of some off and on again for the next few months. I have heard or read nothing further. Has anyone heard anything about this? - We will be flying through Frankfurt the end of April/First of May.

Big difference, though. The ash shut down most all of Europe...this just shuts down a few airports in one country.
