Good morning fellow cruisers, it's cruise day. Had a night of tossing and turning and very little sleep due to the excitement of today. We are up and at it, should be leaving our house in Lake Mary around 9 or so, so that's 9:30 in my wife's language:) I will keep you all posted through out the day.

Love Lake Mary..We stay there when we come to visit our granddaughter.

We will not be going on the Freedom till next February 24. It is such a long way away. We were on Freedom last year and loved it. I hope to be taking a number of people with me next year. Should be fun.!

Hello all,

Been a little under the weather today with some type of stomach bug. We are staying in tonight in hopes I'm better tomorrow. Keep you all posted!!!

I seem to remember the last cruise I was on with you two you also had the 2nd day "under the weather" bug. I think the stomach bug crawled over to you on the bar - LOL

Glad you're doing better and hope that you and Candace have a fantastic time. My turn comes in September.

I am booked next year on Freedom with my family, 7 adults, 4 kids ages 3 to 10. This will be a first with RCCL for all of us. I have a few questions I hope you or someone else on this thread can answer:

1. Evening entertainment and Ice Show: do you have to make reservations for all the shows ahead of time or just show up at whichever show you want to see? If reservations needed, when do you book, online before you go or once on board?

2. Are the children allowed into all the venues (maybe not the Casino or adult entertainment only nightclubs if such a thing exists) for any of the shows or games?

3. For MyTime Dining I understand you have to make a reservation for a specific time for each night and this can be done online before you go. What happens if you decide one day to eat in the buffet restaurant rather than the MDR, do you just phone and cancel the reservation for that day? Can just some of our party cancel for that night?

I'm sure there will be many other questions later on but if someone could answer these, that would be wonderful. My cruising experience is limited to Princess and Oceania.

Thanks so much.

Hello all.

We are currently sailing along the Haitian coast making our way to Jamaica. Today was a wonderful day. I was amazed by two things. I have not been to Labadee since 2005 on my honeymoon, but I LOVe the way they have improved it, I am not sure how people on here complain about it, it's just easy now and very nice. I am feeling much better, but not 100%, we are eating at CHOPs in an hour and I am very excited. Again the wifi is working very fast and I think it has to do with the router right outside my cabin, I will for sure remember this for the future. Lots of kids onboard, but all very well behaved, no naughty room for us, or any others I have spoke to:)ohhhhhh ya, NO humidity at all this entire cruise, I'm used to cruising in Sep when it's soooo freaking HOt, but this is perfect weather. Gonna try to find some wifi tomorrow in Falmouth so I can answer your questions. I have already eaten up my free 60 min emailing my sis n law about the baby at home:)

Thanks for writing! I just loved our cruise on FOS last October. I hope your wife can relax and throughly enjoy your alone time. I remember how hard it was leaving the kids so long ago...now I am 47 days away from leaving them (teenagers ) at home with husband, while I cruise with my sister! :p Happy sailing!!!!

Just FYI - the wi-fi that is listed on the Falmouth port map isn't working yet. Tough job - but we walked 2 blocks away to an outside cantina with wifi and here we sit with a FROSTY COLD Red Stripe!:D

I'm sure king will report later, but the port is nearly 100% complete and very nice.

Hope you are both having a great cruise. Thanks for taking us along on your vacation. Can't believe you were 25lbs heavier, do you have a pic of that? That's incredible that you lost that weight. I'm sure you feel much better. Enjoy your cruise and take good care of the Freedome. Headed back on her in a few months!

Hello all from Margaritaville in Grand Cayman. We are soaking up some free wifi and enjoying a HUGE bloody Mary and some nachos. We are having a absolute relaxing cruise, it really has been great. Falmouth we got off the ship and had a few red stripes at the mini Margaritaville at the pier, they are building a huge one with a pool, but it won't be open until July or so they told me. I was impressed with the facility. Last night we ate in the windjammer, had some great Hibachi, it was awesome. Today I am feeling 100% and looking forward to our Fav stop in Cozumel. Last tender is at 3:15 ship time so I will post more a little later. Ciao for now!!!

Glad you are having a great time and you are feeling better. I can't wait until I'm on the Freedom in a couple of months. DH and I are going to visit Pancho's Backyard when we are in Cozumel. Enjoy the rest of your cruise. And please keep posting. I love that you are sharing your cruise with all of us. Happy Cruising!
