Weather for Western Caribbean itinerary in February

Hi Folks, I booked the 7 day western caribbean itinerary for feb 16, 2013. Anybody sail around then this past february who can report on the weather?

Ouch, that'll be as accurate as your local weather ten months from now. It'll be warm with an occasional rain cloud. It'll also be humid. Wind, storms, etc. are way too far away. Weather.com and wunderground.com are your friends plus you can get weather apps for your smartphone.

This past January, the weather was perfect. Sunny and in the 80's. Last January, it was cold and jackets required. Very unpredictable. Will we have a White Christmas this year? Who knows what the forecast will be.

Having done several February Western Caribbean cruises, the weather has always been very nice and warm with occasional showers. I guess we missed the cold weather year.

We've done the western a couple of times, once in January and once in March. IMO, the weather was fine except for snorkeling. The water was way too cold.

Did the Western in mid-Feb 2012. Weather was sunny and in the 80's. We did all beach and snorkel excursions. Water felt cool getting in, but no problem to swim and snorkel once acclimated, especially if the sun was out.
