Method to Purchase HAL Insurance

:confused: As the time is coming close to make our final payment, I am wondering how to arrange this. Is it offered as an option when you go into the "make payment" screen on the HAL website, so we can purchase insurance and make final payment at same time, or do we need to contact HAL office directly to purchase the insurance? We will be making the final payment a week before the actual due date to ensure there is ample time for payments to be applied to our account. We have great out of country medical insurance, so are basically looking for cancellation/interruption, etc. Thank you.

If you used a TA or PCC, they can have it added to your booking.

Since we use a TA -- we have her take care of buying the insurance when she makes our final payment.

Even when I book online with HAL direct, I always call in the final payment and add the insurance at that time. I like to get confirmation from an actual person but maybe that's just me. Barbara

Amex has pretty good policies at a decent rate
