If you Google "tourism Aarhus, Denmark", you'll find lots of things to do with your 7 hours, one thing in particular is the "old town", which is a collection of old buildings, assembled into a village. ;) :cool:

Look into Den Gamle By. It's pretty interesting and fun. It's in the old part of town, and can be walked to from where the ship docks (though its about a 20 minute walk through town).

When we stayed at Aarhus, we enjoyed the Moesbaard Museum, particularly the preserved bog man from the Iron Age.

Which cruise will you be on? We're on Emerald, sailing 7/28. We're also looking for something to do in Aarhus.

We walked from the ship into town along the Åboulevarden waterfront street and visited to the ARoS modern art museum, which was very interesting if you care for modern art. Then we walked back along Vestergade past Vor Frue Kirke and the cathedral.

 

(We didn't have a very long port call, and having visited another open-air museum a few days earlier, we decided to check out ARoS rather than Den Gamle By.)

Hi, can you tell me how exactly did you get there from the port? We are on the Emerald Princess. I read in one board that you can catch a bus in front of the train station but it took 30minutes to walk to the train station from the port. Was wondering if there was any other options more efficient.
