Who knows best/cheapest transportation from Venice Airport to Cruise Port

There is a local bus that goes from the airport to the P. Roma. It takes about 15 minutes. We have used it but we are fairly light packers. The bus leaves from the airport bus area. I think it was the number 5 but not sure. There was loads of room as this is the start/end of the line. The price was included in the Vaporetto pass that we purchased on line from Venice connected. I seem to recall that it no longer is and you have to buy a seperate ticket for the bus. I think it is 1E or 1.5E.

From there I would imagine you would take the moving staircase of whatever they call it to the port.

Best is a land taxi all the way. Cheapest is express bus to P. Roma

followed by a stroll across P Roma to the people mover tram which is 2 minutes and 1 Euro to the cruise port and a short walk to the baggage drop off.

There are two similar buses with the same cost (5 Euro per head, one way). The AeroBus 5 is the local bus. It makes a few stops en route to Piazzale Roma. This is the bus to go for if you want to buy a combined bus/vaporetto ticket.

The other is the ATVO express with the link given above. This express bus is a coach with lugguage storage under the bus, with guaranteed seating. I've caught both and I found the ATVO more comfortable.

BEST: ATVO "Venezia Express" to Piazzle Roma (luggage storage under bus, faster & more comfortable)

If you purchase online, the ATVO ticket is discounted to € 5.00 for a single and € 4.50 for 2 or more tickets.

€ 5.00 pp if you purchase in the airport

ACTV Bus #5 (Aerobus) to Piazzle Roma (no luggage storage, stops along way) € 5.00 for a single

Best of the best (as far as amazing experience goes) is a water taxi directly from the airport to the ship. Naturally it is the most expensive, unless you have a group of 6 or so and then the cost per person is more reasonable.
