At the Port of Miami...

Waiting to board the Sky!

Never thought we'd take a three-day out of Miami. It's a long way from Boston! But we were in the area, so why not?

Looking forward to spending our twentieth NCL cruise on a new (for us) ship. Also looking forward to checking out the improvements to GSC!

Let the adventure begin! :D

Enjoy! She's different from a 7 day, but the food onboard was really great when I did the 3 day in January. Have a great time :)

We are doing a 4 day on the Sky leaving the 18th of June. Please come back and do an amazing review. =)

Megan

You know it! :)

On board now! Boarding began at 11:45. Shore Ex desk opened at noon and I was first in line to reserve our clamshell ($29.99).

Now at the Crossings restaurant and ordered lunch. Steak for both, please!

All staterooms ready by 12:45. Quickest i've ever seen.

By 2:00 line to get into security is around the building. Zero wait when we arrived at 11:00.

Will be logging off when we sail. No wifi in rooms means minutes aren't worth it to me!

What a day in Miami for sail away! Truly spectacular!

You are lucky, we have had miserable down pours all week in Miami.

The sunny clear skys are perfect weather for sail away. Tell everyone hello and have a drink for me in the plantation club. The peach martini is quite good ;)

Have a great trip and cant wait to hear all about it when you get back

Thanks for the tip! I'm sure I can have a martini for you! ;)

Unfortunately, there appears to be a potential tropical storm forming off the coast which could make the next couple of days interesting!

At least we had wonderful weather while in the Keys earlier in the week!

If Jean-Michel is the HD, please tell him Richard and Mary say Hello!

He IS the HD, but we haven't seen him yet.

BTW, wanted to note I've read a lot of posts about never seeing your room steward on the Sky. Ours just came by and introduced himself and asked if he could get us anything. Great welcome, Sherton!

Was getting pretty tired of the rain!!

Hey MS! Can you send some our way?? Lots of rain this week!! Sailing Epic any time soon??

sorry to Hijack!

Cubechick - enjoy your 3 day! What a nice way to spend the holiday weekend. I was jealous today watching people board the Disney Magic in NY.
