Okay - I'm curious about this "Spa" treatment. Has anyone done this and could tell me what is done and how long does the treatment last? As always thank you for in advance!

To be honest, I wouldn't do it on the ship. Go to your regular dentist. Then, if you have any problems or concerns, they can help you. The gel or chemicals can affect your gums, irritating them. Also, best results are right after your teeth have been professionally cleaned.

I did this, and would not repeat it on board! My gums were very irritated, and the results were disappointing. If I wanted it done, I should have gone to a dental professsional!

On our last cruise a friend paid $300 to have this done in the Lotus Spa. Not only did it make her teeth worse, they wanted another $200 to fix the problem. Use your own dentist, get him to make up a professional (rubbery) mould, supply the gel and do use it at home over a week or 2.

I've not used Crest stips so cannot comment.
