Tour with shopping in the afternoon?

We are looking for tours for our stop in St Thomas. I think I have decided on Sunny Liston but I have noticed that both he & Godfrey offer the shopping part of the tour in the am. We really prefer to end our day casually shopping & then making our way back to the ship. EEE tours (Henry Christopher) & Air Force 1 tours may do the shopping in the afternoon but I just haven't read as much about those. For those of you that did the shopping in the morning & didn't hit the beach till 1:00, was it ok? I am afraid the beach will be really crowded although there's only 1 other ship in port that day.

In early September, nothing will be busy. You don't have to take an organized tour. You can get a taxi to your beach choice, get picked up and dropped off either in town or at the dock for lunch and your afternoon shopping. Easy as pie! :D
