could someone please tell me if lunch or snacks are going to be provided in the private island? ccl is saying no!

If it's like Coco Cay, RCCL's private island, then no, food and drinks are not typically included. There are bars and restaurants on the island where you can purchase food and drinks.

If you read the several large threads about HMC on this board, you will see pics of the BBQ/Buffet area on HMC, including menus. BBQ lunch is definitely included, and it is free.

 

The same drinks you will pay for on the ship have to be paid for on HMC.

 

Comparing RCI and CCL/HAL.... bad mojo...

Yes! On all the "private island/beaches" a BBQ lunch IS included! Typical BBQ fare...burgers, dogs, ribs, chicken and the "fixin's"!...Potato salad, green salads, fruits, beans, desserts..... There are no "bars or restaurants" per se....everything on the private islands is thru the ship....consider these days to be sea days, but on land!!!

Yes, there will be a BBQ buffet. Normal hours are 11:00-1:30.

RCL serves a BBQ lunch on Coco Cay...along with ice water, lemonade & ice tea...soda's & bar drinks are not included..but can be purchased with your seapass card...
