Good afternoon all. We are sailing on the Westerdam and we are set for suite 6084. I like the fact that we are midship and all but I'm a bit concerned about elevator noise. It looks like we are right on the elevator shave. I'm wondering if we are going to get to much noise from the elevator or general noise from people coming and going?

We had a suite (i think 6083). Right next to the elevator. We had NO noise what so ever

No - no noise from the elevators but always bring your ear plugs though, just in case your more sentive then most of us.

On one of our cruises we met a couple in the Neptune who requests the SA Suite right next to the glass elevator for every cruise. They found no noise, didn't care that elevator riders could see the balcony, and really enjoyed their "private glass elevator".:)

I am a light sleeper so ear plugs are a norm for me when I travel. I do like that we are so central and don't have to walk too far to get to the elevator and all that. I read a review from someone that stayed in that room and they said it was very quiet.
