Reboarding Ship after visiting Canada Place?

Recommended Posts

I've posted this on the West Coast departures board as well.

We are sailing Zuiderdam out of Vancouver in 2 weeks. We'd like to check in and drop our bags in our cabins, and then go walk around at Canada Place for an hour or so.

Are we going to be able to just scan our card and walk back on the ship or will we need to wait in line behind people who haven't checked in yet?

Thanks for your help!!

Same in any port on Embarkation Day.

Once you have boarded and have your key card, you can come and go from the ship and do not have to wait in the check in lines but will have to go back through security check.

Be sure to be back in time for Life Boat Drill.

You have to have your passport and boarding pass to get through

security and US immigration again when you want to return to the

Zuiderdam.

Keep in mind Saturday is very busy at Canada Place, so you might

want to drop off your luggage and then go for a walk before checking

in to board the ship.

Thanks to everyone. I found out that after we drop our luggage at the porters there is a place we can store our carryon's for $5 a bag. We'll go walk around and then grab the carryon's before we check into the ship and go through security and customs. It will be much easier. Luckily, it looks like there are only 2 ships in that day.
