hihello Posted July 19, 2012 #1 Share Posted July 19, 2012 I was just looking at the itinerary for my cruise on the Miracle and it says "St. Thomas, USVI *--> Optional Shore Tour To St. John Available. Do they charge you for this? Do you need to sign up?
Ksea1961 Posted July 19, 2012 #2 Share Posted July 19, 2012 I dont know if it's included but either way, I would highly recommend it!
firefly333 Posted July 19, 2012 #3 Share Posted July 19, 2012 All excursions thru Carnival cost money. It is a great one and worth the money, though you can do it privately as well.
DebBrown Posted July 19, 2012 #4 Share Posted July 19, 2012 St. John is a beautiful island. If you want to go, take a taxi to the ferry and pay the fee to cross. It's a LOT cheaper than anything through the ship.

cb at sea Posted July 19, 2012 #6 Share Posted July 19, 2012 Yes..it's an excursion. Going there requires several forms of transportation. Going thru the ship may cost a bit more, but it takes ALL the guesswork out of it.....they take you there and bring you back with no effort on your part at all. If you do it on your own, you'll need transportation to the ferry and to wherever you want to go once you get to St. John, then transport back to the ferry and transport back to the ship. St. John is gorgeous! Love it!
