First timer question-when in Cozumel?

Question-let's say we're in Cozumel - we go swim/scuba dive/whatever for a while while we're in port. Now, we want to go into town/eat/shop - do we go back to the ship and change (seems like a waste of time) - or just hang out in our bathing suits/coverups all day? Do most of the excursions/beaches have lockers/showers?

do not worry about changing, we never do, Cozumel has some great resturants bars with great food and drink, Carlos & Charlies, Senior Frogs, Margeritaville and many many more. This is one of our favorite ports, very very casual

If you want a relaxing beach experience, all inclusive, try Nachi Cocom. No changing required -- eat and drink in your swim suit right on the beach if you want.

Just let your suit dry on you, and slip shorts and tee shirt on over top....much easier!

Coz is very casual. I wouldn't worry about walking around in swim trunks and t-shirt type wear. Most of the western beaches are 'club' type affairs with changing rooms, etc. If you goto the east side of the island there is much much less development and likely no changing rooms, etc. However the snorkeling will be on the west.

When we used to do the beach thing -- we just wore coverups over our swimsuits.

You should try Nachi Cocom, like the other person had stated. You have everything here you want. All inclusive!!!
